Q: What are my paper stock options?
Foil can be applied to multiple paper stock options such as Premium Uncoated, Soft Touch, Linen, Premium Silk, Spot UV, Pearl, Kraft, Embossed and Die-cut cards.
Q: Can I use foil on both sides of my card? And is two-sided printing included in the price?
Yes, you can have foil on both sides of the card and full-colour two-sided printing is included in the price.
Q: Do you offer foil printing for square business cards? Or rounded corner cards?
Yes, we offer foil finishing for these shapes.
Q: How do you specify where the foil goes on my design?
You must provide a separate Foil mask file: black in the areas you want the foil and white in the areas you do not want the foil. All black areas should be solid 100% K with no other added colours.
Q: I have my own design, how can I show you what is to be foiled?
Yes, you can specify where you would like to foiled areas to be with a separate Foil mask file.
Q: What format should I use for my Foil design files?
Your Foil mask file should be in PDF only with vector artwork. ( Black & white only/ CMYK value of 0/0/0/100 for the black parts)
